Christmas in Midtown at Silver Dollar City Photo Update (Late October)

Silver Dollar City is adding millions of lights to their "An Old Time Christmas" event this year. Many of these lights are being added to the Midtown section of the park. Many of the major set pieces in Midtown are recognizable as previously part of "The Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights" that were retired a few years ago from Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The tallest pieces of Christmas in Midtown will be visible from around the park.

The paths leading to Midtown are covered in light tunnels.

Time Traveler Construction Photo Update (Late October)

At Silver Dollar City, Time Traveler is coming along well. The track has been complete for more than a month now, and a lot of the current, visible work is going on in the station and queue. Here are some photos from late October. Backstage photos are courtesy of Dalton Fischer, Silver Dollar City Attractions Publicity. Time Traveler Interview with Dalton Fischer (Silver Dollar City)

Silver Dollar City has announced their latest and largest major addition, coming in a price tag of 26 million dollars: Time Traveler.

It's going to be a Mack spinning roller coaster, the first to launch and invert itself multiple times, and it looks to be one of the best new attractions coming to any park in 2018.
